The brand challenge

Benzac were moving their e-commerce activity to Amazon, ASOS, and Superdrug. Switching off their site’s D2C function. They needed to re-platform. Filling the void created by removing direct sales.

Our solution

Without the ability to buy, users needed a clear and compelling reason to visit. So we created a destination where people can explore the Benzac product range, learn the truth about acne and how to treat it in an authentic and transparent way. Encouraging teens to take back control of their skin.

By focussing on in-depth informative content, we elevated the brand positioning with Benzac’s Gen Z audience. Providing a touchpoint for brand and product discovery. Then linking to off-site buying options.
Our mobile-first design focussed on surfacing content in a fun and informative way. Making sense of the range and how different products work.
Turning digital experience into brand action
Our design approach also makes it easy for Benzac to add new products to the site – and for users to find them through a simple filter. While using Strapi let us set up bespoke solutions to CMS management.
