The challenge

We embarked on a collaborative journey to revamp the Froneri website. This transformation involved a comprehensive re-platforming process, establishing absolute ownership, and bolstering security measures.

Additionally, we crafted a fresh and cohesive brand user interface (UI) that seamlessly integrates across all aspects of their digital presence. Our focus was on optimising the user experience (UX) to effectively showcase Froneri's extensive portfolio of brands across all markets.
The brief for a new site sought to solve two business problems:
  1. 01
Froneri initially faced hosting issues with their former website, which also raised security concerns. Concurrently, they identified opportunities for significant enhancements to their global website. Their vision was to create a visually engaging and easily digestible platform while ensuring scalability to cater to the diverse needs of Froneri’s 20+ local markets.
  2. 02
Switch to Stapi to improve site performance and benefit from its ‘Customiser’ feature. To reduce reliance on dev and allow the client team to build product pages and improve brand consistency.

Scalable and flexible for rapid growth
With an efficient, accessible component suite, the Froneri component library proved to be scalable and flexible for rapid growth. This strategic approach streamlined design and development processes, enabling the utilisation of the component suite for the successful launch of multiple ice-cream brands throughout 2023 into 2024, including Oreo, Cadbury, and Milka—subsidiaries of Froneri.
